[English] Swift Action Resolved Flood and Clogged Drain Issue at Taman Connaught Recreation Park

Dear Residents,

On 16 May 2026, the 1RA committee lodged a report to DBKL and DAP regarding the flash flood issue at the Taman Connaught recreation park. The flooding was primarily caused by drains that were heavily blocked by mud and rubbish.

Following the report, DBKL and DAP representative, Mr. Dominic, promptly came over to inspect the site. He attended to the complaints and gathered valuable feedback directly from our dedicated committee members on-site: Mr. Vincent, Mr. Edward, Mr. Kuan, and Mr. Leong.

We are pleased to announce that thanks to the swift coordination, the issue was fully resolved the very next day! The Alam Flora cleaners arrived at the scene and thoroughly cleared the mud and rubbish from the drains.

We would like to extend our gratitude to Mr. Dominic, DBKL, DAP, and Alam Flora for their prompt action, as well as our committee members for their continuous effort in keeping our neighborhood safe and clean.

Penduduk yang dihormati,

Pada 16 Mei 2026, pihak jawatankuasa 1RA telah membuat laporan kepada DBKL dan DAP mengenai masalah banjir di taman rekreasi Taman Connaught. Banjir tersebut berpunca daripada longkang yang tersumbat teruk akibat lumpur dan sampah-sarap.

Susulan daripada laporan tersebut, wakil DBKL dan DAP, Encik Dominic, telah turun padang untuk meninjau keadaan sebenar. Beliau telah meluangkan masa untuk mendengar aduan serta maklum balas secara terus daripada ahli-ahli jawatankuasa kami yang berada di lokasi: Encik Vincent, Encik Edward, Encik Kuan, dan Encik Leong.

Kami berbesar hati untuk memaklumkan bahawa melalui penyelarasan yang pantas, masalah ini telah berjaya diselesaikan sepenuhnya pada keesokan harinya! Pekerja pembersihan Alam Flora telah datang ke lokasi dan membersihkan segala lumpur dan sampah yang menyekat aliran air longkang.
